“ Have eaten here several times throughout the years. Excellent "hole-in-the-wall" kind of place. If you are in town, you owe it to yourself to try out the Olive Pit. Have recommended it several times, and my friends have always come away happy. ”
“ First timer..but well seasoned in travel. The best southern adaptation, to an Italian Bistro. I choose the grilled chicken alfredo and it was spot on. Pasta had the correct texture, sauce was the correct creaminess. Waitess, Autum' kept the tea topped and timely check ins. NOT while I was chewing. Which is AAA raiting for me. Bonus is at the cross roads for the local cell towers. Perfect service if you seek a place to catch up on the socials or stream a cast or two. ”

The steak is 10/10 and it is hard for me to order anything else! What pasta i have had is amazing. The food portions are big and well priced. You will not regret spending an evening here. ”

“ A friend recommended this establishment to us so we decided to give it a try on the way thru. We only waited about 5 minutes to be seated and the hostess and the wait staff were friendly and helpful. The menu was adequate and we enjoyed our meal. My wife had the lasagna and I chose the crusted salmon, both were excellent, we often share and we enjoyed the meal. The tables are still spaced out extra because of covid and the interior of the facility was reflective of it's Italian influence. The service was prompt and professional, we will go again if in the area. ”

The restaurant was very busy when I was here (good for them), so I don't want to be too harsh about the service. Highly recommend, and I will definitely eat here again if I'm back in the area. ”
“ This is one of our favorites. The food is always good and great is not unusual! From the bread and spiced oil, salads, brown butter pasta, spicy spaghetti and tirmisu, all is good. One glitch is that you will sometimes enter and wait several minutes before anyone knows you're there. Once you're seated all is well from there on out. ”
“ What an incredible dinner! It's not extremely often a restaurant pulls off an absolute perfect dinner for me and my family. Olive Pit absolutely exceeded my expectations! We dined in on a Saturday evening for dinner. Our party of 4 was seated immediately at a nice quiet corner table. Drink orders were served quickly along with some amazing fresh bread. The kind you slice or brake, share with family or friends, and dip into olive oil and mixed herbs. It was outstanding! The entrees ordered were chicken parm, fettuccine alfredo, Jason's Spicy Alfredo Penne, and the star of the show was the Spicy chicken cheese tortellini. This dish was probably the best Italian dish I've ever tried. Both spicy dishes have some heat, but just enough to compliment the flavor. Each dish we ordered came with your choice of soup or salad. Portions are generous and worth every penny. Our server was outstanding as well. She came by to check on us often and took great care of us. The restaurant wasn't very busy, not loud like other places, and no one rushed us out. We were able to take our time and have a great conversation over dinner. If you're traveling through the area or a local resident looking for a great restaurant for a nice dinner or a special occasion, you definitely need to dine here. Now if I can only get that recipe for the spicy mozzarella cream sauce.... ”
